ダサインフェスティバルin Tokyo with 日本ネパール協会（毎年開催）
毎年秋（10月or11月）ネパールの一番重要なお祭りを、東京在住のネパール人ならびにネパールサポーターの方々と一緒に祝うイベントを開催しました。
Since its establishment, NAJ has been celebrating Dashain festival during the month of October or November which is compatible to the Nepalese lunar calendar. This event is observed every year by all the Nepalese living around Tokyo and the members of Nepal Japan Society.

ネパールにおける人道問題の国際社会へのアピールラリー
89年春から行われたインドによる経済ブロックより、内陸国ネパール社会に生活危機をもたらしている問題を国際社会にアピールし、一日でも早く 人道的見地から、解決に導いてもらうための平和的啓発ラリーを東京で行いました。
NAJ organized a peaceful march rally in Tokyo to protest against the Indian trade blockade imposed to a land-locked country, Nepal which was against the common humanitarian principles of solidarity and peaceful co-existence. A remarkably huge crowd of Nepalese and Japanese supporters participated in the rally which also recorded a national news headlines.

2007年~2008年在日ネパール人会が企画運営を行い9月第一土日に日比谷公園でネパールデーフェスティバルを開催しました。2009年からは ネパールフェスティバルと名称を変え、在日ネパール人会のメンバーが中心となりネパールフェスティバル組織委員会を設立し、8月第2土日 （2009年）および第一土日（2010年）に引き続き日比谷公園で開催しました。お客様の数も年々増え2010年度には30,000人以上の方々が ネパールを楽しんでいらっしゃいました。

NEPAL MINI-BAZAAR 2010
2011年は、ネパールでは観光年と位置付けられ、世界中から観光客を呼び込もうとプロモーションを行います。
そこで在日ネパール人会では、ひと足早く皆様にネパールの素晴らしい観光資源を満喫して頂こうとミニバザールを企画いたしました。

12月5日日曜日中目黒ネパール大使公邸のホールにて、伝統舞踊・音楽の紹介、ヨガの実演、手工芸品・紅茶・雑貨・ネパール料理の販売、
ネパールへの旅行案内など盛りだくさんのプログラムで、300名あまりの日本人の方々にネパールの魅力を満喫していただきました。
Organized NEPAL MINI-BAZAAR at the Ambassador's Residence Hall at Naka-Meguro on Dec. 5, 2011 to assist promoting Nepal Tourism Year 2011 amongst various cultural activities, Nepalese handicrafts, food & beverage stalls, slide presentation, yoga demo, travel desk and free distribution of Nepal promotion souvenirs and attended by over 300 Japanese visitors.

NAJは2011年の新年会を大塚の「ようこそアジアダイニング」で新入メンバーも迎え開催しました。
また幹事会で、元々NAJが創設し4年間継続して成功を収めたネパールフェスティバルについて、
今年は「ヒマラヤンフェア2011」と名称を変え、我々NAJが恒例の日比谷公園で主催することを満場一致で決定しました。
NAJ celebrated a new year 2011 gathering at Yokoso Asia Dining in Otsuka and welcomed new members who have joined recently.
The executive committee also unanimously decided to continue the yearly event at Hibiya Park, this time by the name of -
Himalayan Fair - Nepal 2011 in continuation to Nepal Festival originally established by this association and successfully completing it
for the fourth consecutive year.

在日ネパール人会は、東日本大震災被災者の方々への義援金として、150,000円を東京都北区役所の日本赤十字社窓口へ手渡しました。
NAJ handed over a cash donation of 150,000 yen to Red Cross Japan at Kita ward office as a goodwill gesture for the earthquake & tsunami victims.

ヒマラヤンフェア―Nepal2011
東日本大震災で亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈りするとともに、被災された方々には心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
本年度はいろいろなイベントが中止になる中、私たちは微力ながら被災された方々はじめ日本の皆様が元気になる様なイベントとして8月6日（土）
7日（日）の二日間、日比谷公園大噴水広場並びに小音楽堂で”ヒマラヤンフェアーNepal2011”を開催する運びとなりました。
そこで新しくヒマラヤンフェアーNEPAL実行委員会をたくさんの日本人やネパール人の皆さんに参加していただき立ち上げたいと思います。
もちろんヒマラヤンフェアーと名称は変わっても、昨年まで開催されていたネパールフェスティバルの第5回目として継承されているものです。
このような困難な時にこそ、日本人とネパール人が一つの傘のもと手を取り合って、イベントの様々なプログラムをを通してより太いネパールと
日本との絆を構築していきたいと思います。今回のヒマラヤンフェアーも在日ネパール大使館、外務省、ネパール観光局の後援のもと行います。
何よりもフェアーを成功させるにはあなたのご協力が必要です。
Our yearly event at Hibiya Park, Tokyo has been named ‘Himalayan Fair – Nepal 2011’ this year, which is being organized on August 6 & 7,
2011. In continuation to our past events for the 5th consecutive year with the main intent of strengthening Japan-Nepal friendly relationship throu
gh cultural exchanges, promoting Nepal tourism & trade and bringing together Nepalis & friends of Nepal under one roof amidst various entertaining
activities, this event is estimated to gather over 25,000 visitors in 2 days.
The Embassy of Nepal in Tokyo, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan and Nepal Tourism Board, have once again, extended their continued support
to this event. This year, we are also committed to make contributions from the proceeds of this fair to the victims of March 11th disaster and avail
few free stalls from the disaster hit areas as well to bring back some smiles to those sad faces and to try relieve their grief from the disaster of
March 11th.
